Our strategies

In 2019, we released a new strategic plan to carry us forward for the next 3-5 years. That strategic plan centers on three strategies:

Advocating for Systems Change
We cultivate a network of advocates and build relationships with decision makers to encourage policies and systems
that reduce family stress and improve well-being.

Advancing Knowledge & Growing the Movement
We support leaders and providers who are working with children and families in learning about ACEs science and
applying healing-centered, trauma-informed approaches to their work.

Catalyzing Innovative Practices in Prevention & Healing
We cultivate pilot projects and collaborations that lead to shifts within systems and organizations, with a focus on
elevating perspectives of those most impacted by trauma.

Who we partner with

Everyone is invited.
We believe addressing ACEs and childhood trauma requires us to take a 360 degree approach with many stakeholders across sectors. Prevention and healing go hand and hand; in order to prevent future childhood trauma, we must identify policies and practices that help children and adults heal and create the conditions for everyone to thrive.

Our structure

Iowa ACEs 360 is a 501(c)3 organization. We do not provide direct service, consultation, or referrals for individuals. Our focus is on building a network of many leaders who work together and independently to address ACEs.
